Andrew's Inn (Vermont Gay Country Inn, Disco and Drag Cabaret/70's and 80's) Color:Natural and knowing glancesTucked into the quiet hills of Bellows Falls, Vermont, Andrews Inn was the unlikeliest of gay havens a country inn turned disco, drag stage, and safe house for a generation hungry to dance without fear. From the mid 1970s through the early 80s, it drew travelers from Boston to Montreal with its mix of small town charm and full throttle nightlife: go go boys one night, political meetings the next.
