Jean-Michel Basquiat Untitled (New York) Skateboard from The Skateroom Spring Gifts Created and illustrated by CharlesFor the groundbreaking 1981 MoMA PS1 exhibition New York New Wave, neo expressionist artist Jean Michel Basquiat designed a promotional graffiti sign, Untitled (New York). The work is reproduced here on this skateboard, crafted from seven ply Canadian maple wood. The exhibition featured more than 100 artists from the avant garde New Wave scene, including Basquiat, Keith Haring, David Byrne, Nan Goldin and Greer Lankton. The Jean Michel Basquiat
