The box is made of Northern White Pine and the top is made of 3/4" MDO sign plywood and has a dado cut in the bottom so it can't move from side to side the depth of the frame ledge has been increased to compensate for the inset

8 Frame Queen Excluder, Metal Custom Top Frames and Foundation are madeWhen you want to keep the queen seperated from the Honey Supers you will need a Queen Excluder. The spaces on the excluders are small enough for bees to travel back and forth from the Brood box to the Honey Supers but the queens is a little too large to fit through.
