Flavour was drawn from the botanicals with spirit vapour rather than by boiling, producing fine flavour. Bombay use a careful blend of 10 botanical (Italian juniper, Moroccan coriander, Saxonian angelica, Spanish orange peel, Italian orris, Chinese liquorice root, Spanish almonds, cassia bark, Javanese cubeb berries and African grains of paradise).
