LIGER BELAIR, CORTON CHAMRLEMAGNE 20196P Bottle:1 lightly wood-aged wineThe 2019 Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru comes from Les Longuettes and underwent long fermentation. Orange cordial and touches of mango feature on a nose that opens nicely with aeration. The palate is honeyed in texture with well integrated oak, quite vanilla y at the moment. Flecks of white chocolate and almond emerge toward the plush finish. Very generous in style, though maybe not the most intellectual in its class.
