Paritua Red Blend 2015 Bottle:1 Pale straw-yellow in colorThis Merlot dominated Bordeaux style blend is housed in a wrist achingly heavy bottle. It's funky on the nose: medicinal, with tomato leaf, dried roses and cherry cordial aromas. The fruit is a touch stewed. More cooked fruit awaits on the big boned palate, along with chewy tannins and a bit of heat from the alcohol, leaving one wanting for more freshness and harmony.
