Karelian Birch, known for its distinctive burl, was famously used by Peter Carl Faberg in 1917 to create a Faberg Egg for the Russian Tsar. Etimoe, a towering West African hardwood, grows up to 165 feet in rainforest canopies, while Makore, also native to Africa, is prized for its durability and rich grain.
