The wind was providing some ripples on the lake and was also slowly moving the leaf

This forced me to stop and photograph the scene as I also waited for the shadow a few minutes more to come into this position

The outcropping of trees in two instances with the ongoing water drew my attention when I took this image

Alaska I noticed the piers under a section of walkway and how the evening light was lighting them up a little from their normally dark place

Making multiple stops on that evening I ended up at the Daniels & Fisher Tower along the 16th Street Mall and positioned myself in a location to capture the lighted tree as fresh snow continued to fall in the city
