Millions of people pass through every year. Its crowded, loud, and usually the last place I would choose to shoot. But this photograph wasnt made as a checklist stop. It was made at a breaking point. This image came from my very first self assigned expedition across the West. The pandemic had erased my job and the structure I had built my life
