"Purple People Eater" Frame Option:Unframed “Morning Sunlight on the Museum”The first of my Corvette Race Car Series, The Purple People Eater, shows the purple car driven by Jim Jeffords to the national title in SCCA in 1958 and 1959. The fictional Elkhart Lake Tire Company with a Goodyear sign seems appropriate since the car won many of its races at Road America outside Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
