There is ample structure here as well though it’s largely buffered by all of the mid-palate extract and I particularly like the depth

with driving acidity

it’s that there is limited depth though there is enough material that it may develop with a few years of bottle age

A high-toned nose is also airy and pure with its mostly red berry fruit nose that reflects plenty of floral influence

Christian Moueix, Ulysses other_regions it's intellectualOakville fruit but Napa Valley on the label. Fresh picked berries and bramble on the nose become focused and spiced on the palate. Nice herbal and earth notes with rocky minerality across the full length of the palate. The open fruit expression of the nose creates the expectation of a bigger wine to follow but it is classical with good restraint and an impressive sense of precision in the mouth. Beautifully done.
