The challenge here was to position myself to capture the color reflection

Under soft light I walked through the fields and captured the spring growth

Today I was in the area and thought about photographing the same scene without the snow

After nearly an hour in the conditions I ended up calling it a night and left to head home and thaw out

La Jolla Cove Reflection While along these islandsIt was a quiet morning along La Jolla Cove in Southern California. As I looked down at the sand in the cover I notice the rock in the sand. The water would come up to and past the rock and then recede back to the ocean. After noticing this for a little bit I set up my tripod to capture this with a long exposure. Using a long exposure with water will smooth it but also as it moves in an area without water give it a little ghostly effect. The timing of
