SNOW FIRS OF THE WILLAMETTE NATIONAL FOREST MOUNT CHAPIN A beautiful and calm summerI arrived early in the morning near Salt Creek Falls to photograph the recent snow storm the Cascade Mountains had received. As I was snowshoeing along, I came upon this majestic scene of snow covered fir trees. Stopping me in my tracks, I gazed out into the wilderness in awe at how beautiful this scene was. (173 657)
