Cornelissen's rosé is produced with the same philosophy and vinification techniques as all their other wines: skin contact for texture and territorial identity

There are only a handful of producers here and the soil is unique in that it has a high percentage of silex (or flint) which typically is identified with Pouilly Fumé

The 3rd harvest (10% of the total wine) is macerated on the skins  for 3 weeks during fermentation and then aged for 4 months in a 500 liter oak barrel

Castelnau de Suduiraut is made from portions of the harvest that are expressive earlier than those used for Chteau Suduiraut, the Sauternes features candied yellow fruit, quince, frangipani, mild spices and a hint of minerality. Ages for 15 months: 20% in new barrels, 80% in old barrels.
