A red admiral buttery lands on an obedient plant which can be viewed along the trail during the summer months at Wildflower Park in Northern Illinois

This morning I wanted to try and find some monarch butterflies to photograph in the park

A beautiful morning while walking the trail around Wildflower Lake as a colorful spring sunrise appears on this June day in Northern Illinois

I focused on some of the wildlife in the park

The forecast this July morning was to be mostly clear with cool temperatures and a mist hovering over the low lying areas
