It is made of stainless steel and therefore only to be used for rope halyards not wire. If you are using a wire halyard, order the bronze lead 508 159 03R instead. Bronze is softer than wire and therefore prevents damages to your halyard. The bronze version was included in all Furlex A, B, 100S, 200S TD, 104S and 204S TD from 1983 2024.
