Older heavy equipment use a J1708 commiunication standard to interface with test equipment and devices using a round 6-pin Deutsch connector

The 8192 baud serial data comes off of pin 9 in these connectors

This applies to any of the OEM manufacturers calibrations when doing engine upgrades or modifications

Use this cable if your kit has a OBD2 style connector and you need a marine 6-pin style interface
