There is a single flaw to note in the half-gone round ring carved at the base of the trap in which the fox is caught

Perhaps if you recognize the scene you will email us and we'll review. It's a wonderful mid 1800s fine stitch needlepoint in silk and wool yarns, very nicely preserved in what would appear to be the original frame. A gold filet performs as a perfect mat to encase the tapestry. Purchased in France, we are uncertain who stitched it. Very good to excellent and no glass present so
