A French Art Deco Oak Desk Lamp 17th Century "Bourbonnais" bar cabinet by RobertArt Deco Split Wood Table Lamp The cylindrical drum shade constructed entirely of closely set horizontal reeded oak staves bound within circular end rings of darker tone, the whole forming a rolling shutter or tambour form of satisfying geometric regularity, the shade pivoting on a reeded columnar standard of classical Doric inflection, raised on a plain stepped square plinth base, the working toggle switch emerging at the junction of column and base.
