Its huge triangular palmate compound foliage are arranged in the shape of a fan. The bright yellow spring flowers are usually hidden behind the leaf stems and are followed by fruits that ripen in fall. Grows best with full sun in rich and moist well drained soils. Drought tolerant once established. It typically only reaches 5 feet when
