I used to think Germany was only good for its beer

where a bit of skin contact is normal and they don't mind texture

Pinot heavy with a couple of other Champagne varietals from a south-facing sunny vineyard

As ever though

drink this straight from the bottle and it'll still do nicely

When I tried this last week it had been open for 48 hours. You couldn't tell. Insane freshness, the kind only the finest natural wines give you. Florals, fruit and flint. A bit of petrol but not too much, a bit of texture but not too much, a fair bit of acid but again not too much. I didn't really believe in a perfect wine, then I tried this.
