There is some surface rust on the hilt and crossguard. There are waffenamts is in place on the hilt. The mortise functions as it should. The wooden grip plates show wear from being handled, but this gives them a nice look. The two rivets are in place holding the grip plates tightly to the bayonet. The scabbard has a light coat of rust that matches the above fittings. This is a matching set.
