It is totally matched throughout. The ribbed brown bakelite grip plates are held in place by two screws. The finish on hilt and scabbard is mostly missing, but it has a nice steel tone. The scabbard does show some rusting. This has a waffenamt on the pommel. The blade is in very good condition; it still shows some bluing. There is a slight bit of rust at the tip
